ABOUT SHRI RAMAKRISHNA VIVEKANANDA SEVA SAMITI TRUST AND ITS ACTIVITIEs
Shri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Seva Samiti Trust was formed and came in to existence in Dharampur by the inspiration of most Revered Swami Ranganathanandaji Maharaj, the then 13th president of Ramakrishna Math and Mission at Belur Kolkata in 1997. Maharaj has showered his blessing and gave initiation to 130 devotees of Dharampur and Kaparada taluka and inspired us to work for the upliftment of tribal community and spread the message of Shree Ramakrishna Dev, Shri Maa Sharda Devi and Swami Vivekananda. Dharampur-Kaparada is the largest taluka place in Asia surrounded by mountains, it contains about 236 villages.

Dharampur is just 28 km away from Valsad (45 minutes), 205 km from Mumbai (3.5 hours), 230 km from Vadodara (4 hours). Dharampur and Kaparada are the main Tribal talukas of Valsad district and they are connected by road to other parts of Gujarat and Maharashtra. Hence all the socio-economical activities like trading, education, health and agriculture, etc. are under taken at Dharampur.
